Henry is a kind and gentle 15.2 hand black and white coloured cob. He is 18 years old and has spent most of his life working at a local riding school where he was used for all levels of rider and even for disabled people as he was so safe. When he had a problem with one of his legs he had to retire and it was decided that he might have to be put down.
The team at Shamba Farm heard about him, went to visit and fell in love with his calm and loving nature. Henry now has a permanent retirement home with us at Shamba Farm. Although Henry can’t be ridden we know he will be a perfect therapy horse as he is so easy to handle and sweet natured. His leg is now a lot better and he is very happy walking around his field with his friends. He is already a real favourite with our visitors and Shamba Rangers.
