Empathic Horsemanship

What is Empathic Horsemanship?

Empathic Horsemanship is the name we have chosen to describe our own natural horsemanship training programme. Our training uses communication, co-operation and consideration to establish a 50/50 partnership with our equine friends.

The Shamba Experience

Our empathic natural horsemanship training programme will show you how to create an unbreakable bond with your horse, using kindness, communication and trust. We never use force.

This partnership is achieved with groundwork and games on our long rope lines and also using liberty work to enhance your relationship and have fun together in harmony.

This foundation will create the basis you need to achieve your equestrian goals whatever they may be.  Whilst having a good time with you, your horse will learn to be confident and brave so that, as a partnership, you  will be able to safely deal with any problems you may encounter whilst hacking, schooling or out at shows.

Our Empathic Horsemanship instructors Milly and Jane will be happy to discuss your needs and to teach you either with our horses and ponies or with your own horse. The team are also keen to meet other like minded equestrian enthusiasts who would like to learn our training methods and become part of our group.
